CAMILLE CHASTAIN FOR U.S. SENATE

Accessibility

Participation in public life should not depend on how someone sees, hears, moves, reads, speaks, or uses technology. We are committed to making this campaign website usable by as many people as possible.

Our Standard

We design and maintain this website with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of design, publishing, and testing rather than a one-time certification.

Because technology, assistive software, and campaign content change over time, some pages or third-party services may not perform identically in every configuration. When we identify a barrier we work to correct it, and we provide another way to obtain the same information whenever practical.

Website Features

Keyboard access

Navigation, forms, dialogs, and interactive controls are intended to be operable without a mouse, with visible keyboard focus.

Screen-reader structure

Pages use headings, landmarks, labels, descriptive link text, and alternative text so content can be understood without relying on visual layout alone.

Readable presentation

Text can be enlarged with standard browser controls. We avoid placing essential information only in color, decorative imagery, or motion.

Reduced motion

Campaign interfaces are designed to respect device-level reduced-motion preferences where animation is used.

Media & Documents

Meaningful photographs and graphics include alternative text. Video carrying campaign information should include captions, and substantive audio-only material should be accompanied by a transcript or equivalent text whenever reasonably available.

When a campaign document cannot be made fully accessible in its original format, we will provide the same substantive information in an accessible web page, plain-text version, or another usable format on request.

ACCESS ACROSS CAMPAIGN TECHNOLOGY

Q-Net & GLASS

Q-Net and GLASS are communication and payment channels, not accessibility requirements. Essential campaign information is not intentionally restricted to either system. Where a Q-Net or GLASS feature has no direct web equivalent, the campaign provides a human-accessible alternate route whenever the campaign controls that service.

Contribution links on this site hand control to the donor’s registered Q-Wallet or other authorized financial client. Accessibility inside that external client is the responsibility of its operator, but no banking credential or private wallet key is required to be entered into this website.

Q-Net language rendering can be disabled at the client level so readers may view the campaign’s signed source text directly. Language rendering, screen-reader output, magnification, and other presentation layers must not alter the source revision or the identity of the publisher displayed to the user.

Need Assistance?

If you have difficulty using this site, need campaign information in another format, or want to report an accessibility problem, email accessibility@camilleforsenate.com.

Please include the page or feature you were trying to use and, if helpful, the browser or assistive technology involved. Do not send banking credentials, Q-Wallet keys, government identification numbers, or other sensitive financial information by email.

We want the barrier, not your private data. A campaign staff member can help provide the information or an alternate way to complete the task.
